Provide engineering support to Metrology technicians across multiple measurement disciplines with emphasis on RF/Microwave.

Develop and maintain calibration procedures to provide traceability to national and/or international standards.

Interface with equipment users, engineering, quality and various levels of management.

Determine impact of nonconforming measurement standards on the calibration process.

Provide knowledge continuity of Metrology and Metrology principles through training of Metrology personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with a minimum of 5 years of calibration laboratory experience.

Formal training and experience in electrical, dimensional, and mechanical metrology.

Knowledge of industry practices pertaining to calibration of measuring and test equipment.

Proficient using computers and major components of MS Office suite.

Good verbal & written communication skills and effective interpersonal skills to engage with a team and/or lead a team.

Ability to obtain secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
Familiarity with and/or training in DoD METCAL, PMEL, or TMDE metrology programs.

Ability to develop metrology measurement techniques and procedures.

Experience with teaching, mentoring, or coaching.

Electronics and RF/microwave calibration experience/training.

Electronical standards calibration experience/training.

Experience with Fluke Metcal, National Instruments LabView, Northrop Grumman SureCal, or other automated calibration platforms.

A strong understanding of ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
