We are seeking a midlevel Health Care Fraud and Abuse associate to join our dynamic Research Triangle Park, Raleigh, or Charlotte office. The ideal candidate will have three to six years of experience with representing healthcare providers faced with fraud and abuse enforcement actions by the government and litigation stemming from those enforcement efforts. Experience with the False Claims Act, Stark Law, and the Anti-Kickback Statue are preferred. Candidates will work closely with experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility and client contact. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We require strong academic credentials, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service.
The preferred location for this position is our Research Triangle Park office. This position is also open to our Charlotte and Raleigh offices.
Base Salary: $185,000 - $275,000
The base salary for this position will be determined during the interview process and will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, market factors and candidate’s geographic location.
