TAYS is seeking a Mid-level Manager to join our high-performing management team and lead a cross-functional group of IT staff in Baltimore, MD. The role is currently remote.

What You’ll Get to Do

  • Prioritize, track, and manage a portfolio of projects and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Monitor progress and adjust schedules and resources to meet key goals.
  • Identify and minimize risks and issues, escalate, and mitigate.
  • Facilitate and guide meetings and project planning to ensure appropriate scope and resource allocation.
  • Direct and evaluate project vision and strategy.
  • Perform project completion and team management, define and drive project deliverables, and facilitate project team meetings.
  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Maximize profitability through effectively managing budgets, planning and forecasting.
  • Mentor staff members.
  • Evaluate performance and provide career guidance to team members.
  • Lead staffing and onboarding activities of new resources.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a technical discipline with 3 to 8 years of relevant professional experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Well-developed project management skills.
  • Possess good analytical abilities to effectively manage time, cost, and quality of output.
  • Demonstrated ability to make successful presentations to individuals and/or groups at all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem resolution.
  • Excellent emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams and committees.
  • Commitment to excellence and high standards.
