Spooner's Woodworks is seeking a Millwork Engineer/ Drafter. Candidate must have commercial millwork experience interpreting architectural drawings, and have the ability to use that information to produce detailed shop drawings for submittal and cabinet production.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities: Must be able to read and interpret millwork from architectural blueprints and specifications.Prepare detailed millwork shop drawings to company standards and customer specifications.Must work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Production Staff to understand job requirements for cabinet production and shop submittal
Job Qualifications: Must be familiar with typical millwork manufacturing process.Must be proficient with AutoCAD Familiar with Microvellum V67, Microvellum V7 a plus (Candidate can be trained if all other Qualifications and Duties listed are met) Basic computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word and some Excel) Acrobat Pro or Bluebeam. Must have strong time-management skills and be comfortable with a deadline driven schedule.Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving abilities, and strong attention to detail. Pay based on experience.
Can start out as outsourced work form home: pay per job, to see if candidate will work out.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
