Our employees will maintain and sustain all assigned equipment, support services, and material to the highest Army maintenance standards. Critical to this process is the ability to integrate balance between preparation of new systems; extending the life cycle of older systems; meeting the day-to-day equipment readiness requirements (storage and maintenance); and preparing for the next deployment.

Work is either at an Equipment Concentration Site (ECS) or Area Support Maintenance Activity (AMSA). The specific work location are within Military base operations. Therefore, Candidates/Applicants must have the ability to successfully obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC) and pass a National Agency Background Check.

Responsible for participating in receiving, inspecting, documenting, storing, issue, and re-issue of all categories of military equipment. Ensure the accountability of all military equipment going out on issue and being returned/stored is maintained and properly documented. Perform PMCS on various military equipment using a 10 level manual. Identify vehicle BII utilizing TMs and ensure BII is annotated properly in hand receipts. Make 10 level repairs on equipment using basic knowledge of general hand tools. Perform inventories in a warehouse environment. Perform assigned tasks with a minimum of supervision.

Operating from a mobile fuel station and/or tanker, the MES performs one or more of the following duties: supplies all types of vehicles with gasoline or diesel fuel, and records mileage and tag numbers, checks fluid levels, battery, cooling system and engine oil, checks tires for wear and pressure, replaces wiper blades, fuses, sealed beam lights, and light bulbs. Inspects equipment and performs preventive maintenance services, changes oil and filters, lubricates and greases vehicles, washes and cleans interiors and exteriors of vehicles; maintains inventories of parts and supplies; and cleans and maintains work areas. Perform other duties as assigned.
