Full Time Mobility Technician - to join our team!

Vibra Specialty Hospital of Portland, located in Portland, OR is a 65 bed Critical Care Hospital providing acute care services to patients recovering from serious illnesses or injuries. Often our patients require additional critical care services for medically complex conditions such as trauma, infectious diseases, wound healing, cardiovascular disease, stroke, amputation and ventilator weaning. As a smaller, specialized hospital, we offer an opportunity to work in a fast-paced and friendly work environment where you really get to know your patients and their families.

Mobility Technicians are trained to perform the task of lifting/transferring patients in a safe, efficient manner. The Mobility technician is responsible for implementing all safety requirements as taught in training, including pre-visualization, assessment of patient condition, and use of mechanical devices. The Technician maintains all mechanical lifting equipment in good working order.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Education or equivalent required.

Successful completion of Designated Coursework/Environmental Orientation within thirty (30) days of hire required.

Current BLS from a Vibra approved vendor within thirty (30) days of hire required

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

Ability to project a professional image.

Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.

Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.

Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.

Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
