The Ticket Sales Associate is responsible for providing information about the resort and handling a range of transactions with customers. This individual has excellent communication skills, has a patient nature, and always goes above and beyond for everyone they meet.

Out of our Tickets Office, the Ticket Sales Associate provides service to our guests in person, via email, and on the phone. They give information to our guests about condition and resort offerings, manage sales of a number of products, and work to resolve guest issues. With that said, no task is too small as working on Donner Summit means we all pick up a shovel, bump chairs, and pitch in all aspects of resort operations no matter our title or pay grade.

If you have a friendly and empathetic personality, ability to pick up systems and information quickly, and strong communication skills in a high volume environment, we want to hear from you!

The Deets:

While every day is different and our roles may shift based on business needs, here is what you can expect to dive into in this role as the Ticket Sales Associate:

  • Provides an excellent level of service for our guests.
  • Manages transactions with our guests using RTP.
  • Understands Resort offerings, operating procedures, protocols, and best practices in comprehensive detail
  • Collaborates with Mountain Services and marketing team to be up to date on all resort information and offerings.
  • Communicates operational status/changes, delays, weather, road-conditions, and pertinent information to our guests.
  • Documents, follows up, and escalates guest issues to the proper channels.

What We're Looking For:

  • Has a guest service mindset and outgoing personality
  • Has excellent written, phone, and in-person communication skills
  • Communicates in a direct and helpful manner
  • Able to pick up systems quickly
  • Able to lift 50 pounds
  • Available to work weekends and holidays
  • Available to work some evening shifts if asked
