Utz Quality Foods is seeking an MRO Purchasing Coordinator to join our Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO)team to work out of one of our west coast facilities:Las Vegas, NV,Algona, WAor Goodyear, AZ. The Purchasing Coordinator will be responsible to work within the corporate MRO structure to manage the purchasing of all equipment, parts, and maintenance supplies for assigned locations. Other duties include the coordination and scheduling of all maintenance services performed by outside contractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for purchasing all equipment, parts, and supplies, upon receipt of an approved material request form.
• Issue a purchase order number or assigns the appropriate capital project number to all purchases.
• Reconcile receipts and invoices to the purchase orders ensuring accuracy.
• Optimization of current prices, lead times, payment, and freight terms with vendors.
• Review monthly purchases and maintain an accurate year to date summation of all expenditures.
• Set inventory levels, and work within the system to maintain ample inventories of all parts.
• Continuously strives to consolidate vendors, negotiate pricing, and reduce maintenance costs.
• Schedule and coordinate preventive and repair maintenance for all equipment and facilities covered under a service contract by an outside vendor.
• Coordinates EAM and vendor activities with maintenance associates as required.
• Accompanies auditors during inventory checks and reconciliation events.

Salary: $70,000-$80,000
