SUMMARY
- Responsible for supporting production, shipping, purchasing, and testing departments within the facility.
- Maintains inventory control of FG, WIP, Packaging, and Plant Supplies.
- Starting rate $28-$30 per hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Partners with Managers and Supervisors to work as a Team.
- Reviews receiving paperwork for accuracy of material delivered.
- Ensures material to be received is completed within 24-hours of delivery.
- Enters data electronically into various computer systems.
- Assists with quality testing, maintains specific quality control check documentation.
- Run reports for aged inventory and cycle counting.
- Responsible for completion of monthly cycle counting and quarterly inventories.
- Enters Near Miss reports into system.
- Cross trained within several departments to work as a backup when required.
- Any other duties as assigned by manager.
SAFETY
- Works safely and follows all safety rules and operational procedures.
- Wears and maintains all required PPE.
- Keeps assigned work area clean at all times.
- Understands all safety devices and their operation. Notifies management if safety devices are malfunctioning or missing prior to operation.
- Safely operates all lifting devices per manufacturing specifications.
- Safely and effectively operates forklift/pallet jack when necessary.
Requirements:QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Preferred Bachelor's degree and prior experience in manufacturing
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong written and oral communications.
MATHEMATICAL SKILL
- Basic mathematical skills, addition, subtraction, multiplication and converting fractions into decimals.
- Ability to read a tape measure, micrometer and caliper accurately.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Lifting-Up to 50lbs.
- Standing-8 or more hours per day
- Walking-Off and on, 4-6 hours per day
- Body Positions- Squatting, bending, flexing and extending both arms
- Grasping-Both hands, up to 4 hours per day
- Sitting- Occasionally
- Pushing Effort- Material movement with pallet jack.
- Pulling- Tools and finished product, up to 50lbs.
- Climbing-Occasionally
- Climb up and down stairs-Occasionally
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Manufacturing facility - exposed to heat and cold
- Personal Protective Equipment required at all times
- Controlled Noise exposure
- Activity level is high - continuous movement.
