Overview:
Mission Veterinary Partners has an opportunity for a multi-site Inventory Coordinator to join our team!

The multi-site Inventory Coordinator will support our VIDA Veterinary Care clinics in Denver and Centennial, as well as Rocky Mountain Small Animal Hospital in Highlands Ranch.

Shift Details: This is a full-time position, working 2 days at VIDA Veterinary Care - Denver, 2 days at Rocky Mountain Small Animal Hospital, and 1 day at VIDA Veterinary Care - Centennial.
Compensation: $21-$28/hour
Desired Experience: Prior inventory management experience required. Strong understanding of practice management software (PIMS) and familiarity with Impromed preferred.

Job Summary:
This position maintains and oversees actions for appropriate ordering and stocking of non-controlled pharmaceuticals, as well as hospital and office supplies. The multi-site Inventory Coordinator will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and have great attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Responsibilities:
How you'll make an impact:

  • Maintain and uphold Core Values and Mission Statement of MVP.
  • Oversee inventory counts and ordering; oversee veterinary diet ordering.
  • Assign inventory tasks and oversee completion; identify helpers for inventory counts, keeping individual knowledge and strengths in mind; oversee helpers in their counts.
  • Develop and present continuing education in inventory management to the staff on a regular basis.
  • Oversee maintenance or troubleshooting on equipment as necessary including dental, anesthesia equipment, autoclave, and lab equipment.
  • Enter new items, purchase orders, inventory, and pricing corrections into the Practice Management Software; run expiration reports and inventory reports using the Practice Management Software.
  • Monitor use, loss, and sales of inventory items.
  • Forward invoices to financial manager; file invoices and bills.
  • Communicate back orders, pricing changes, and short dated items to the team.
  • Report on inventory changes at team meetings and to the Hospital Manager as necessary.

Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of three years’ inventory experience required.
  • Former veterinary experience is preferred.
  • Preference will be given to CVPM and CVT candidates.
  • Must be confident around pets.
  • Must have a commitment to MVP core values.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite required; it will also be necessary to become proficient in the use of Impromed practice management software.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
