Concept Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer onsite located in Quantico, VA. The ideal candidate will have experience in the following but not limited to Government contracts. The role is responsible for the overall integration of service delivery arrangements involving LANs, MANs, and WANs including the planning, design, installation, maintenance, management, and coordination of agency LAN/MAN/WAN interfaces with the customer’s telecommunications service providers. Active Top Secret is required.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and executes highly complex engineering activities.
• Manages and maintains virtual infrastructure leveraging various Hypervisors to include HyperV, XenServer, and ESXi.
• Manages and maintains a global Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure.
• Builds, maintains and supports a variety of workstation and server images to include both current and legacy Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Builds, maintains, and supports automated system patching and software deployment systems.
• Support remote end-user systems, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.
• Works with outside organizations to support federated systems.
• Designs and implements new solutions and technologies based on emerging technologies.
• Assists Government representative by providing technical recommendations in large teams of multi-disciplinary personnel to ensure congruence of the various hardware, software, and communications approaches.
• Guides others to achieve goals in accordance with established policies.
• Works on complex problems where analysis of the situation and/or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
• Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.

• Responsible for assisting and recommending the Government representative on the technical direction, leadership, and training of less experienced Contractor staff.

Requirements:

• 8 years of experience engineering and supporting complex distributed server infrastructure systems using both Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
• Active Top Secret is required.
• Experience building and supporting desktop systems using Windows 7, 8, and Windows 10 Operating Systems.
• Experience designing workstation and server infrastructures for high latency, low bandwidth networks using satellite or cellular broadband technologies.
• 5 years of experience engineering and supporting virtual infrastructures.
• 2 years of experience supporting virtual desktop infrastructures such as Citrix or VMWare.
• Current Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or equivalent.
• Experience designing system architectures, overseeing the implementation and test/troubleshooting activities, reviewing and approving changes/modifications to the design and implementation, documenting the installed system, and recommending and operating the system management tool.
• Experience troubleshooting complex engineering challenges.
