NextGen Coordinator - North Hills Church of God Job at Christian Career Fit
The mission of North Hills Church can be heard from the lips of Jesus our Lord , “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I (Jesus) have commanded you”(Matt 28:19). The NextGen coordinator bears responsibility for coordinating ministry resources for the fulfillment of this mission to the Next Generation of our church: birth through high school.
As the NextGen Coordinator at North Hills Church, your primary role will be to equip and train an army of volunteers and parents to disciple our next generation. Additionally, you will provide relevant, age-appropriate learning and connection opportunities for parents and their families.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordination and set up of the Sunday morning NextGen ministry
Curriculum preparation weekly using Orange curriculum
Children's rooms preparation and organization
Development, scheduling, and coordination of a volunteer team
Development and maintenance of relationships with an army of volunteers
Your relationships will be the mechanism to recruit to the NextGen ministry team and train them for effectiveness, faithfulness, leadership, and success. You will develop leaders and teams of volunteers so that they are operating in their strengths.
Coordination of the “day of” Sunday morning NextGen experience
Open and start up the facilities for the Morning services
Be present and hospitable to parents and children during check-in
Be present for volunteers in the classrooms during the service
Network with church adults post-service in the lobby of our main building for the purpose of resourcing parents, maintaining relationships with your team, and recruiting new team members.
Coordination, preparation, and execution of Family Events under the direction of the senior pastor
Part-Time 20 hrs/week
