North Carolina NIEHS/ USEPA Government Armed Security Contract. Job at AmeriGuard Security
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS TO BE ELIGIBLE:
Job Type: Armed Federal Security Contract
Salary: $20.54 Per Hour Plus Health & Welfare at $4.80ph (Health Insurance or 401-K ) Plus $1.15ph into a pension.
Required education:
If called in for an interview, documents you will need to bring;
- Be a United States citizen;
- Have either a high school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma from an accredited institution recognized by U.S Department of Education
- MUST meet the following requirements:
- Two years of security experience within the last five years or two years of Military experience or two years Law enforcement or Completion of state certified Law Enforcement Education and Training or Police Officer’s standard Training Course.
- Must have North Carolina State PPSB Clearance Card (security guard license)
- Must have North Carolina State PPSB Gun Permit (firearms permit)
- Must be able to pass Government back ground and receive a clearance MBI.
- Must be able to pass a physical agility test .
- Must be able to pass a course of fire on the range with a 9mm.
- Applicants must attend 120 hours of initial training for protective security officer. Training will be provided by the contractor AmeriGuard Security at minimum wage.
- Must have or receive First aid & CPR AED (provided during training)
- Must have OC Spray Caspsicum Oleoresin (provided during training)
- Must have Expandable Baton permit (MEB provided during training)

- Security: 2 years within the past 5 years
- Required license or certification:
- PPSB State Gun Permit
- PPSB State Guard Permit (few unarmed positions)

- Proof of Work Experience (2 years of W-2 from a security company, 214 if applicable, Post Certificate/Proof of Law Enforcement Experience)

- Guard Card Permit
- Naturalization if applicable
