Job Title: NP Urologist

Location: Skilled Rehab Nursing Home

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced NP Urologist to join our team at our Skilled Rehab Nursing Home. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive urologic care to our residents, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of conditions such as incontinence, urinary tract infections, and other urologic issues.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' urologic health
• Diagnose and treat urologic conditions, including incontinence, urinary tract infections, and other issues
• Manage and monitor residents' medications and treatments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, including physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation therapists, to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate residents and their families about urologic conditions and treatments
• Ensure quality and continuity of care by maintaining accurate and complete medical records
• Stay current on the latest advances in urologic care and incorporate evidence-based practices into daily work

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Nursing with a specialty in Urology
• Active NP license in good standing
• Board certification as a Urologic Nurse Practitioner
• At least 5 years of experience as a NP Urologist in a hospital or long-term care setting
• Strong clinical skills, including physical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of urologic conditions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, interdisciplinary team environment
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current on the latest advances in urologic care

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $122,839.99 - $460,740.26 per year

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Self-determined schedule

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Forest Hills, NY 11375: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• BC/BE (Preferred)
• Medical License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

• 25% (Preferred)
