Marion County Health and Human Services is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant with the ability to provide direct client care in prescribing medication assisted treatment medications including buprenorphine and methadone in collaboration with our behavioral health team to people struggling with Opioid Use Disorder.

In this role, you will work side by side with our Medical Director, nursing team and Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselors, providing direct client care and guiding individuals on their path to recovery. Previous experience in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment is preferred.

Applicants must be a Nurse Practitioner or Physician’s Assistant with a current license in Oregon and DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances without restrictions and per regulation within the state in which the practitioner will be working.

Contractor will perform services as an independent contractor, not as an employee of Marion County. Services will be provided in the clinic and through telehealth.

Marion County Health and Human Services, Medication Assisted Treatment Program uses a holistic model of treatment that embraces traditional abstinence-based recovery as well as harm reduction principles to help clients reduce and ultimately end the use of heroin and other opioid drugs.
