TLC provides intermittent, part-time, or extended hours of all our services. .

The Occupational Therapist will help create a stronger therapeutic relationship by communicating effectively with patients and their families while evaluating acquisition, motor and cognition abilities. The Occupational Therapist will evaluate patients on a consistent basis, keeping an eye out for changes that would harm the patient's health or lead to a chronic ailment. This position is crucial in making sure that patients maintain their health and wellness over an extended period of time.

Responsibilities:

• Perform treatment in a clinic or hospital.
• Coordinate occupational therapy services throughout the care continuum from health promotion to hospice.
• Adapt treatment to meet the needs of a wide variety of client populations and situations.
• Complete occupational therapy tasks, including evaluation, intervention and documentation of patients' progress.
• Act as liaison between clients, medical or administrative staff and families.
• Provide education re: occupational therapy to patients, families and other caregivers.
• Assist in the establishment of an individualized plan of care for each patient.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $60.00 - $70.00 per hour
