JOB TITLE: Office Assistant II Pay Range: $21.43-$32.15
DEPARTMENT: QCV Property Management
JOB DESCRIPTION: To enhance the Administration Office by providing customer relation skills to visitors
and/or employees. Answer main multi-line phone, take messages and route messages, and respond to
questions from clients and/or co-workers. Assists in the day to day operations and duties by composing
business letters, memorandums and documentation, greet clients, answer telephone calls, take and route
messages, respond to questions from clients, Process bills for payment and/or co-workers. Provide clerical
assistance and support to other departments as needed or requested. Adhere to strict confidentiality
requirements at all times.

EMPLOYEE REPORTS TO: Property Management Manager
EMPLOYEE SUPERVISES: None
EDUCATION:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
SKILLS:
- Must be able to type 25 wpm. (Test Required)
- Must be computer literate with working knowledge of Microsoft office and/or word, and excel.
- Must have documented knowledge of modern office equipment and practices.
- Work independently and evaluate department needs and carry them out.
- Must have basic math skills.
- Must be have basic computer skills.
- Must have good communication skills both written and verbal.
- Must be able to compose business correspondence, i.e., letters, memo's, spreadsheets, etc.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of two (2) years' work experience answering multi-line phones.
- Minimum of two (2) years secretarial and/or office experience.
- Minimum of two (2) years guest service experience.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Responsible for the deliverance of the highest level of customer services to guests and co-workers.
- Must adhere to strict confidentiality requirements of all information seen and/or heard.
- Tolerance to cope with stress and a fast paced environment.
- Will be required to use personal vehicle for routing daily external mail to Tribal Entities as requested.
- Must attend mandatory training as required.
- Must have a successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes and/or other employment entities.
- The Tulalip Tribes requires different levels of pre-employment background screening for all positions.
PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS AND/OR PREREQUISITES:
- Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer, routine paperwork, multi-line phone
- Ability to sit for extended lengths of time.
- Must be able to lift heavy materials up to 25 lbs. (i.e., packages, etc.)
- Tolerance to be exposed to a computer screen for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop and lift.
SPECIFIC JOB PERFORMED:
- Assists in the day-to-day operations, Process of Bills, and other duties needed of Property Management,
- Responsible for greeting visitors.
- Note taking during meeting
- Take messages and answer routine questions.
- Prepares business correspondence as directed, including reports, memorandums and letters.
- Maintains an efficient and organized filing system.
- Assists with the development of procedures to ensure office efficiency.
- Attends training and workshops as required to acquire new skills, keep updated and maintain present
- Follows standard operating procedures and policies of the department.
- Maintains the utmost confidentiality of all information seen and/or heard while employed with Quil Ceda
- Occasional use of personal vehicle may be required for routing of daily external mail to Tribal Entities.
- Assists with other assigned tasks.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
This is a Regular Full-time position, requiring at least 40 hours per week, or 2080 hours per year. Employee may be required to work
after hours, weekends, special events and/or on call. Upon successful completion applicable probationary period employee may be
eligible for an increase in pay, subject to budgetary restriction. Employees will be required to work on-site, no telecommuting. No
provisions for relocation will be provided.
