Ready to apply? We currently have an opportunity for a Online Content/Merchandising Specialist to join our team located at our LB OH Corp Office-LaneBryant-New Albany, OH 43054.
Position Overview:
The Online Content Specialist will assist in the day-to-day operations of the website for lanebryant.com. This position works cross functionally with all aspects of site management which includes but not limited to merchandising, marketing, creative, planning and allocation and analytics teams.
Duties:
- Coordinate all product and promotional activity on website, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of input and loading of information into eCommerce site management system.
- Understand all feeds for inventory, pricing, product activations, promotions and content and their impact to the website.
- Set up all creative requests, product collections, disclaimers and additional required assets. Will also work with Copy and Content Manager to ensure all relevant copy and images are provided.
- Ensure all creative assets and product collections are developed and tested within 24 hours of deployment.
- Responsible for daily site QA
- Responsible to testing all site enhancements for any customer experience updates.
- Verify site set up of content and promotions once deployed to production.
- Must perform site QA prior to 7am daily when on call.
- Ability work on tight deadlines and must be a self-starter
- Stays abreast of current industry standards and techniques to ensure effective content that achieves the organization's goals.
Work Experience and education requirements
- 1-3 years working as an operations coordinator, promotional coordinator or traffic coordinator in the online space, preferably within the retail environment.
- Proficient in Excel a must.
- Must be detail oriented with an analytical mindset
- Experience using an eCommere platform; ATG experience preferred
- Understanding of user experience and operational web best practices.
- Clear understanding of website infrastructure, content management and product attribution.
- Proven track record of being an active partner and team player.
- Ability to be proactive and take initiative.
- Must be able to understand process, meet deadlines and make decisions. Project management experience is desirable.
- Experience building and analyzing reporting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
