Operations Crew Job at Chicago Red Stars
Members of the Operations Crew will work within the Operations Department on game days to assist with the preparation of the Red Stars home stadium for each game and removal and storage of Red Stars items post-game. This is a seasonal hourly paid position and members of the Operations Crew are requested to work all Red Stars home games.
What you will do:
- Hang banners and signage throughout the stadium and remove post-game
- Assist vendor with the set-up of field board and remove post-game
- Set out field side seating and return to storage post-game
- Place tables on concourse and at gates as needed and return to storage post-game
- Set up pop-up tents on concourse and at gates and return to storage during second half of game
- Set up fan activations, promotions and giveaways and return items to storage post-game
- Set up field of play areas with appropriate equipment and return items to storage post-game
- Place signage / décor in premium spaces and return items to storage post-game
- Set up pre-game and post-game event spaces and tear down at conclusion of event
- Assist with operational tasks throughout the game
- Undertake walk-thru at conclusion of the game to ensure all items have been returned to storage
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be available to work a minimum of 11-14 games
- Ability to lift and/or carry a range of items weighing 20 to 50 pounds
- Must demonstrate a positive attitude
- Must be a team player who can communicate clearly and solve problems collaboratively
- Must be detail oriented and able to follow instructions
- Must have access to reliable transportation to get to/from SeatGeek Stadium in Bridgeview, IL
