Jubilee Gift -- Part-Time Operations, Events & Program support

Jubilee Gift is seeking an experienced Operations, Events and Program weaver to bring your genius combination of organizational detail and high, personal relationality to a community of some of the most extraordinary spiritual teachers, entrepreneurs and wealth holders you will ever meet!

You will have the unusual opportunity to interact with and learn from leaders at the forefront of reimagining money, gift economies, and protecting the sacred in society, indigenous lands and entrepreneurship, and to work with a dedicated and diverse team who loves to learn, laugh, deepen, and serve together.

The position is remote, the hours are flexible, and the pay is $35-45 per hour depending on experience. 5-10hrs/week, plus annually on-site for a 4-day community journey. (This year, covid-permitting, in Sylacauga, Alabama Sept 19 - 23rd.) Start date as soon as possible.

As an operational and program weaver, you will:

● Work directly with Alexie Torres and Marian Moore to produce & execute the Jubilee Gift
Course, a year-long, mainly virtual transformative learning school for wealth holders and wisdom keepers. You will:

  • Provide the technological support for every-other-week gatherings of 35-50 people exploring some of the most far-reaching conversations in this field;
  • Tend to community relations; respond to questions of participants, and act as a support link to resources and scheduling between gatherings;
  • Develop effective communications & tools that orient and provide clarity for participants;
  • Ensure that weekly communications and monthly study and practice resources are created and shared through our technology platforms;
  • Maintain and organize recordings and all Google suite documentation;
  • Suggest updates to our tools and systems to ensure ease, clarity, and delight in support of the deepest initiation and learning for participants.

● Support production of one-two annual events/Journeys, where you will:

  • Work hand-in-hand with expert facilitators to plan and execute a multi-day immersive learning journey focused on gift consciousness for wealth-holders, entrepreneurs and wisdom-keepers;
  • Translate journey vision and goals into tangible experience by leading all logistics for events, which may include site-selection, lodging, rentals / set-up, transportation, food, and communication with participants;
  • Contribute to budget development, track event budgets, and manage contracts and invoicing with all event-related vendors in collaboration with our bookkeeper;
  • Suggest updates to our systems to help journeys run more effectively.

You will love this role if:

● You want to work remotely and need/want a flexible schedule with this work as one part of your overall work portfolio;

● “Spreadsheets” is your middle name -- you love to organize and create systems to enable planning and programming to stay on track and enable others to easily plug in;

● You read a room well and anticipate the needs of those around you;

● You are naturally at ease with all kinds of people; you love building relationships and making connections;

● You are a natural and intuitive translator of idea to reality -- you can turn desired qualities and outcomes for an event (cozy, participatory, transformative, challenging) into a real experience via details like site location, room set-up, meals, etc;

● You enjoy creating productive spaces for others to connect, learn, and be;
● You can easily zoom-out or zoom-in as the situation demands -- from clarifying a big picture strategic “why” to digging into the details of participants’ dietary needs;
● You are highly self-directed and confident in your ability to prioritize; and
● You are quick, flexible and resilient to changing factors.

The following skills are also important:

● Expertise using Google Suite, Zoom, and comfort with learning other software systems;
● Experience in, and/or demonstrated interest in some of the areas we work in: spiritual development, entrepreneurship, social investing, and gift economies,
● Excellent verbal and written communication;
● Experience working on distributed teams.
