Overview:

Reporting to the Operations Project Manager, the Operations Project Coordinator will be responsible for supporting and coordinating low and medium level projects across the organization. Some of the projects may carry significant business implications in a dynamic and growing FQHC healthcare organization.


Covid-19 Vaccination and Boosters Requirements:


All employees are required to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19, including "health-care" required boosters as a condition of employment, subject to limited exemptions. New employees are required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and boosted before the first day of employment. If you completed your primary series, received an original booster and it has been more than 2 months from that booster dose - it is recommended, but not required that you receive the Bivalent booster.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with project planning and tracking of project schedules and evaluation of project activities
  • Support project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes, and emails
  • Participate and/or facilitate project design meetings and propose improvements if necessary
  • Coordinate project-related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored
  • Evaluate potential problems and develop solutions
  • Communicate with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
  • Work collaboratively to enhance service integration within the organization and Community Based Organizations (CBO).
  • Prepares and present effective written and verbal reports and other written materials.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:


  • At least 2 years of experience working in a cross-functional team setting, projects, and/or clinical operations experience is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent clinical operations/project management experience required.
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills and possess effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to organize work and establish priorities in order to accomplish multiple tasks concurrently is critical to success.
  • Intermediate computer proficiency (Zoom, Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Asana).
  • Proficiency in data management programs/database knowledge.

Preferred Experience:

  • Working knowledge of general Project Management Book of Knowledge (PMBOK) and project management methodologies a plus.
  • Experience working in healthcare setting (clinic operations, frontline experience, etc.) highly desired

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

  • Prolonged standing and walking.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Use of mouse, keyboard and headset.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
  • Travel between clinic sites in Marin County as needed.
