Schedule: Full-time, benefit eligible, 40 hours per week, 8:30a-5p
Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Surgical Services Supply Coordinator. Performs duties of receiving, break-out, labeling, storing, charging, dispensing, computer operation, and equipment processing.
Minimal Acceptable Job Qualifications
Licensures: SAMA within 30 days of hire
Experience: One year of Central Service or related experience in another department or healthcare facility may serve as an alternative requirement.
Education: Minimum of high school diploma or its equivalent.
Other: Demonstrates working knowledge of Hospital service theme.
Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills, both verbal and written, necessary to interact effectively with all internal and external department customers. Performs other duties as assigned.
Demonstrates knowledge of inventory control practices for supplies, equipment, and implants for surgical services, including sterile processing. Requires basic computer keyboarding and data entry skills.
