Territory Sales Manager (Outside Sales)

Reports to: Regional Sales Manager

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Position Overview:

We are looking for an experience outside sales professional to identify new business opportunities, conduct in depth research and promote Johnstone Supply’s products and services to potential customers.

Essential Job Functions

  • Prospecting new customers and finds new quality leads.
  • Contact existing and prospective customers to uncover, clarify or amplify needs & opportunities.
  • Position products and services as a strategic advantage to customers based on customer's business needs.
  • Establishes and expands relationships with key people and decision-makers within each customer organization.
  • Consults with clients after sales to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
  • Monitors market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales
  • Develops territory and sales plans to target key customers and prioritize sales activities.
  • Participates with management in updating territory plans and setting sales goals.
  • Maintains knowledge of new and existing products and inventory by participating in training and seeking knowledge from sales manager and experienced sales representatives.

Salary: $60,000.00-$150,000.00 a year


Qualifications:

  • 2+ of successful sales experience.
  • Direct sales experience in the business-to-business HVAC/R or similar industry preferred.
  • Technical experience with Daikin and hydronics
  • College Degree preferred
