Packaging Machine Operator

Job Objectives
Packaging Machine Operator runs our automated packaging lines and assists with all shipments and warehouse operations. This role is also crucial for accurately maintaining warehouse inventories and ensuring the overall order and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain the automatic bagging lines and palletizer.
  • Keep accurate records and reports for inventory and assist with physical inventories utilizing manual and electronic tools.
  • Ensure that the warehouse is in order and in accordance with the cleaning schedule.
  • Other duties as needed or assigned.

Working Conditions Hours:

Full Time, 12 hour rotating schedule. (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am alternating shifts). Each four week rotation you will have 7 consecutive days off and 14 days off in total. This includes guaranteed overtime of 9hrs per pay period. Starting Pay: $19.50 per hour

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, employees are regularly required to utilize electronic communication devices; employees will frequently walk, sit, stand, reach, bend, kneel, and climb (ascends and descends) and must be able to remain alert and present for extended shift work; must be able to lift 60lbs.; maneuver mechanical aids such as forklifts, aerial lifts, pallet jack, hand truck, etc.; work in a dusty environment, work in a range of temperatures both indoors and outdoors and occasionally work in confined spaces.
Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of one year of production or warehouse work.
  • Forklift certification preferred.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal, communication skills.
  • Must be physically able to perform essential job functions.
