As a Digital, Paid Media Associate you would join our team of talented marketing experts to facilitate communications strategies across social, display, search, and programmatic platforms. Coordinators conduct research on trending topics, providing insights to optimize client campaigns and conduct rapid response. The ideal candidate possesses strong written and verbal communications skills and has an in-depth knowledge of social media.

About you:

  • You’re passionate about understanding and shaping public affairs applications for digital and social media
  • You’ve spent time working on digital communications in a professional setting through internships or full-time positions
  • You’re a skilled communicator, with a knack for conveying complex ideas in compelling and easy-to-digest ways
  • You studied marketing, public relations, political science, communications, or something similar

What you’ll be working on (experience in these areas is a plus):

  • Working in a highly collaborative environment with an energetic team spanning recent college graduates to industry leaders with decades of experience
  • Using digital media and web analytics tools like Google Analytics and Sprout Social
  • Working directly in both page and business accounts on social media platforms
  • Using platforms like Facebook and Twitter in a research or community management capacity
  • Using deep listening and analysis tools to uncover insights and monitor trends for DDC’s clients and prospective clients
  • Reporting on daily, weekly, and long term online mentions and conversation metrics for a wide range of clients in the political or issue advocacy space
  • Providing recommendations on actionable insights for how to structure digital strategies based on social intelligence

Agency information and submission requirements:
DDC has offered a hybrid work environment for many years. This position will be based in our downtown Washington, D.C., office near the McPherson Square Metro, but we are open to applicants located outside the metropolitan DC area.

The anticipated salary range for this position is $50,000 - $60,000 per year.
Salary is based on a range of factors that include relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and geography.
