Palo Alto Security Engineer III Job at Mastech Digital
The Senior Security Engineer will be responsible for the installation, configuration, policy administration, security, and Tier 2/3 support of Palo Alto firewalls on a federal program. You will perform the following duties:
- Consult with the client and stakeholder groups to develop and document system requirements.
- Design the Palo Alto firewall system configurations per stakeholders’ specifications, and client security requirements.
- Oversee the installation and configuration of the firewalls, and ensure that they meet all stakeholder requirements.
- Keep the firewalls current on all code/content updates and threat signatures.
- Perform ongoing system security patching and vulnerability remediation.
- Provide ongoing Tier 2/3 support to Verizon Operations.
- Own the configuration and operation of the firewalls.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
- PCNSA - Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Administrator, or PCNSE - Palo Alto Networks Certified Network Security Engineer certification are desired skill.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Salary: $72.00 - $81.00 per hour
