The Township of East Brunswick is accepting applications for the part-time position of Park Ranger within the Department of Parks and Recreation. The successful candidate will monitor the Township Park System usage, security, safety, and maintenance; enforce Township ordinances, park permits, and regulations; assist with parking when necessary and occasionally provide security at Crystal Springs Family Waterpark and Township events. The Park Ranger is required to become certified in Automatic External Defibrillators, First Aid, and CPR.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Must be 21 years of age and requires high school diploma or equivalent.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Have the ability to preform with minimal supervision, assist the public with in a courteous and effective manner, deter vandalism, and issue summons when necessary.

SALARY: $24/hour

HOURS: Weekdays: 4/5PM – 10PM; Weekends/Holidays: 7AM-2PM or 2:30PM-9:30PM. April 3rd – November 15th; program is dormant during the winter months.

LICENSE: Must have a valid New Jersey Driver’s License.
