As our Parking Lot Attendant, you will be responsible for preparing the base area parking lots in anticipation of the day’s challenges. This position is up early and willing to mitigate safety issues. Individual must be able to communicate and help customers to resolve problems or direct them to a resolution.


Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour West of Seattle via Interstate 90 at Snoqualmie Pass, The Summit includes four unique mountain areas, a snow tubing park, Nordic center, and 10+ food and beverage establishments. Perks also, include free season pass and resort and industry discounts.

Responsibilities:
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare parking lots for guests each morning – removing any trash, spreading sand/salt to help keep employees, shoveling snow and guests safe.
  • Directing cars to open parking.
  • Greeting guests and providing resort information.
  • Assist with busy Ski and Ride School program days.
  • Supporting other base area departments as needed including Security, Roads, Environmental, and Transportation operations.
  • Create a safe, convenient, and fun outdoor escape for all.
Qualifications:
What we are looking for:
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Able to work holidays and weekends per seasonal demands and business needs.
  • Ability to start work early – which leaves plenty of time for skiing or snowboarding.
  • Must be able to stand outside in inclement weather for long periods of time
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Previous guest service experience - preferred

Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $18.00 to $18.75
This is a non-benefited role.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
