The Activity Coordinator is an expert at driving results in our Senior Living properties. The Activity Coordinator brings exceptional experiences to life every day for our current and future residents through active engagement in activities and programs. The Activity Coordinator will assist in the planning and implementing of activities and programs to enhance the community experience for residents. The Activity Coordinator may move frequently across multiple properties within a geographic location based on business needs.

Core Performance Responsibilities:
1. Develop, document and lead an engaging activities program including but not limited to physical exercise, arts and crafts, entertainment, and special events.
2. Create and publish a monthly activities calendar for distribution in and outside of the community.
3. Provide casual leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, and etc.
4. Coordinate special monthly outside activities that are appropriate for our residents.
5. Develop a network of volunteers to assist with activities and special events.
6. Coordinate scheduling as appropriate of community dining services.
7. Daily use of customer management systems to build relationships with prospective and current residents ensuring all communication is documented.
8. Build and maintain long-term relationships with residents by addressing and responding to requests, questions, and concerns, making referrals to manager or maintenance team members as appropriate.

Experience, Education and Licensure:
1. Customer service experience and a strong customer service mind-set.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to relate to a diverse group of people.
3. Self-driven with an ability to manage time, multi-task, and prioritizes responsibilities.
4. Team player who works well and supports everyone to achieve our goals and objectives.
5. Two years of successful experience leading an activities program. Prior experience is preferred.
