Part Time Assistant Teacher/Closer Job at Kidzland Child Care Center
Kidzland in Little Chute is looking for part-time Assistant Teachers and closers/cleaners. Shifts vary, but will typically be 12-6, or 3-6, with opportunities to pick up extra hours. This is a great after-school position for high school seniors, or a flexible option for college students.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Working hands-on with children, getting down to their level to play, interact, and teach while following the Lead Teacher's direction.
- Communicating with families about their child's progress while in your care.
- Taking over the classroom at the end of the day, relaying information to parents and/or lead staff as needed.
- Following child tracking procedures to ensure all children are accounted for at the end of each day.
- Assisting with the cleaning and closing of the classrooms and building at the end of each night including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, etc.
- Ability to work with all age groups, with the flexibility to switch between groups
- Covering vacation days/time off for classrooms
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $12.00 per hour
Schedule:
- After school
- No weekends
