Job Summary

The purpose of this position is to perform Card Room housekeeping duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Vacuum all carpeted areas with a backpack or upright vacuum.
• Clean, disinfect, and restock restrooms.
• Empty and reline garbage containers and recycle cardboard, glass, and plastic.
• Sweep, dust mop, and mop floors with hand mop, walk behind and riding auto scrubbers.
• Wash or spot clean windows and door glass.
• Wipe off tables and TVs.
• Assist Lead and Manager ensuring Card Room and Grandstand is ready for daily business.

Required Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Able to stack, move, and set up chairs and tables.
• Must be able to pass Canterbury Park’s pre-employment screening which includes a criminal background check and verification of work history.
• Must be able to obtain an MRC license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping and customer service experience helpful.
