Utz Quality Foods is looking to grow our loyal, career driven, and customer focused team, and are currently recruiting for a Part Time Machine Cleaner to join our team of manufacturing professionals in Hanover, PA at our Kindig Facility on Second Shift.

As a Part Time Machine Cleaner this candidate will be responsible to participate in all sanitation activities in order to maintain, clean, and safeguard equipment and facilities used for the processing and packaging of food products. This candidate will also be responsible to remove all waste to proper disposal units. This position works Monday – Friday 4:33pm-9:03pm.

Key Responsibilities

• Uses air wand and hand cleans all packaging equipment and machines on a daily basis.
• Uses a lift elevator and ladders to accomplish cleaning.
• Air blast conveyors.
• Uses a high pressure tools to clean processing equipment and transfer belts.
• Removes stainless steel hopper and weigh buckets from packaging machines. Cleans buckets and hoppers using can washer.
• Cleans and squeegees processing room floor.
• Sweeps and air blasts floor.
• Removes all waste to proper hoppers.
• Returns all tables, tools and mats to proper position.
• Requires working cooperatively and proactively in a cross-functional team with a diverse group of people and Supervisors.
• Readily takes instruction from the Supervisor and Leadperson and is eager to improve work activities and knowledge base.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
