Part Time Management and CIS Faculty Job at New England College

The Management Division at New England College seeks part-time faculty to teach on campus and online in a variety of disciplines including:

Accounting, Business, Computer Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Legal Environment of Business, Management, and Marketing

Undergraduate and graduate courses are offered on campus in Henniker and Manchester, New Hampshire, and surrounding locations with some hybrid, remote and asynchronous options. We are looking to fill classes for the spring, summer, and fall of 2023.

Essential Duties Summary
  • Engage students to facilitate and achieve course learning outcomes;
  • Grade work submitted by students and provide timely and substantive feedback;
  • Teach from the approved curriculum in accordance with assigned schedules to ensure student satisfaction;
  • Participate in college recruitment, retention, and career initiatives by connecting students, faculty, staff, and employers, and offering support as needed;
  • Advise students in matters related to academics, attendance, and career interests.

Required Qualifications
  • Preferred terminal degree in Business, Cybersecurity, or CIS with 18 credit hours in the discipline for which you are applying, and/or related master’s degree with industry experience or professional certification relevant to the discipline.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Superior interpersonal, customer service, presentation, and communication skills;
  • Proven organizational, innovative, and problem-solving skills;
  • Proficiency with MS Office, Blackboard, and use of the Internet;
  • Demonstrated teaching strengths at the college level.
