Part Time Math/Reading Tutor Job at The Tutoring Center (Cypress Creek Plaza)
The Tutoring Center in Cypress, TX ( on Fry and Tuckerton) is looking for instructors who are enthusiastic about empowering Kindergarten to 12th grade students to achieve their potential.
Responsibilities :
- Tutoring K-12 students in reading, writing, and math using our custom academic programs and facilitate our student incentive programs.
- Working effectively under supervision of Center Director
- Learn The Tutoring Center’s proprietary educational programs and methods
- Genuine care for children and a love of learning and positive attitude
- Thrive in a fun, open, energetic atmosphere
- Most importantly, you must be committed to integrity, quality, enthusiasm, exceptional service, and teamwork
Requirements:
- College students with A/B grade average OR Bachelor's degree holder
- Ability to tutor K-12 in reading, writing, and math
- Prior tutoring/teaching experience a plus
- Tutoring hours Monday-Thursday 3:30pm-7:30pm
Flexible work hours are in afternoons and evenings Monday through Thursday and Saturday morning.Great part-time afternoon hours and a very fun and rewarding environment working with children.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
