Patient Representative Greeter | Registration Job at Memorial Hospital of Union County
Responsible for providing a friendly and appropriate greeting and farewell to all people entering and leaving Memorial Health’s Hospital facilities. Exudes enthusiasm while applying quick thinking and resourcefulness in providing proactive assistance to a variety of needs. Facilitates patient sign-in for registration, checks in pre-registered encounters, delegates tasks in the registration area to ensure effective patient flow. Performs patient registration functions, conducting interviews with patients to collect demographic, guarantor, and financial information while entering data into the Hospital Information System. Assists with way-finding, escorts patients to service areas, assists patients with a variety of transportation needs. Receives patient concerns and complaints and provides resolution for readily resolved issues and escalation for more in-depth issues.
Requirements
Must be a high school graduate with excellent customer service skills. Strong telephone and interpersonal communication skills and problem solving abilities. Must be efficient in Microsoft Word, Excel with accurate typing skills. Must also be able to handle multiple tasks at once with ease.
