Seeking a Full Time Personal Assistant for an extremely busy business owner. This role will assist with a complex variety of initiatives, including, but not limited to helping owner in their businesses’ day to operations, household and family, business development and expansion, administrative support to the owner and her Executive Team. This job requires excellent attention to detail and communication skills with an ability to efficiently and effectively get the job done in professional and polish manor. The assistant will be working with an a Small Business owner who while at times high maintenance is extremely efficient and effective at her job and needs to be supported to continue doing well in her field. Role Purpose:
This person is a Jack or Jill of all trades, master of organization, while being excellent at delegation and/or execution. They can take direction but claim 100% ownership over their tasks. There are positive, optimistic and hardworking, and no job is too big or too small for our Personal Assistant. This role is a bridge between professional and personal worlds, and must be equally as comfortable picking up a kid from school as they are having professional and polished communication with VIP clients.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assisting with any or all administrative tasks, as assigned
- Oversight of some household errands and chores such as laundry, grocery shopping, organization, meeting vendors, arranging for returns and occasional transportation of children
- Read, summarize and prepare responses to letters and emails to owners
- Prepare deposits, pay bills and manage accounting software for tax purposes.
- Onboarding new employees into all company systems
- Prepare candidates for interviews and conduct interviews when owner is not present
- Auditing and processing payroll for direct deposit
- Execute the issuance of employee reprimands and terminations on behalf of owner
- Should have an overall knowledge of HR policies and company policy.
- Sometimes complex calendar management
- Travel coordination and preparation
- Social media content collection, planning and posting
- Errands and other initiatives as assigned
- Ability to travel is a must as owner does travel around State of Missouri
Qualifications and Experience
- Superb communication skills, with the ability to communicate difficult messages clearly and with empathy.
- Must have at least an associate degree
- All Federal, State and Local Taxes Must Be Paid
- Must Be Able to Clear a Federal Fingerprint Background Check
- An active listener who can think quickly and critically under pressure.
- Ability to calmly thrive under pressure, perform consistently and work with a sense of urgency.
- Superb organization skills in order to prioritize and manage a large volume of cases during peak periods, as well as work autonomously.
- Must be resourceful and willing to pitch in wherever needed.
- Must be a self-starter, and able to recognize need before a task is assigned.
- Ability to/interest in occasional travel to Kansas City and/or other Missouri markets is a plus.
- Must have a valid US Driver's License and reliable vehicle.
- Shift is flexible but at times will seem all consuming (ie payroll, end of year)

Salary: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
