Personal Care Assistant, Maple Knoll Village Job at MAPLE KNOLL COMMUNITIES, INC.
Maple Knoll Village, a continuing care retirement community located in Springdale, Ohio, is seeking full-time Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to work 3pm to 11pm in our Assisted Living unit.* The starting pay for this position is $14 per hour, pay is based on experience, certification or STNA; plus a $1 shift differential for shifts beginning at 3pm or 11pm. *CPR and First Aid certifications are a plus. COVID-19 vaccination is a requirement for employment; however, if applicable, medical and religious exemption submissions can be submitted and reviewed by the COVID committee prior to job offer.
Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assists residents with dental care, bathing and nail care.
- Assist residents with dressing/undressing as necessary.
- Maintains bedding and puts extra covers in beds as requested.
- Provides incontinence care as needed throughout the day and night.
- Assists in transporting resident's to/from appointments, activity and social functions, chapel, meals, etc.
- Assists with transferring, moving, positioning residents into and out of beds, chairs, showers, wheelchairs, etc.
- Assists residents to walk with or without self-help devises as instructed.
