Ivy Rehab Network, is looking to hire a Personal Trainer to join our team!

We are seeking a driven individual with a passion for assisting others to live life to the fullest. Our Personal Trainers are focused on the needs of our patients to help ensure the best kind of care and growth. In this role you will be handling the day-to-day operations of the fitness center while also making a lasting impression on our patients.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Certification for personal training (A.C.E., N.A.S.M., etc.)
• CPR certification
• Liability insurance through Ivy Rehab or personally acquired
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and machines
• Understand and carry out directions from therapists/physicians concerning clients
• Ability to maintain records, form reports, and submit invoices in a timely fashion
• Understand and carry out oral and written instructions from therapy staff
• Ability to assess and refer clients to PT as needed

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Improve client athletic performance and reduce injuries.
• Teach lifelong fitness and movement skills
• Communicate with members interested in training and assessing their needs in order to build an appropriate and customized program based on their goals and desires.
• Remain people-oriented and focused on the true needs of clients in order to provide the best kind of care and growth.
• Ensure you are familiar with the memberships and classes offered on site as well as physical therapy’s operations.
• Establish and maintain a strength and conditioning program for all clients, devising training plans according to scientific principle and based on the needs of their physical capabilities.
• Keep an organized and clean workout space that appropriately serves our facility and represents Ivy Rehab professionally.
• Maintain a professional image when representing Ivy Rehab – in the gym or at community functions.
• Follow policies, procedures, and plans for safe and professional operation of the facility.
