Compassionate, customer service oriented Pharmacy Manager needed for NCH Pharmacy, a clinic-based retail pharmacy located in Colebrook, NH. In this integrated model, the Pharmacy Manager will work closely with providers and clinic staff collaboratively, providing team-based medicine with a strong pharmacy component to provide optimal care for patients. Maxor National Pharmacy Services, headquartered in Amarillo, TX, manages the pharmacy. The Pharmacy Manager, a Maxor employee, is a competent, dynamic leader who is responsible for the coordination of patient services within the pharmacy and supervision of pharmacy staff.

BASE SALARY RANGE $155K-$170K PLUS GENEROUS SIGN ON/RETENTION BONUS
Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Regional Manager and or the Executive VP of Operations ensure the pharmacy provides optimal service, meets legal and accreditation/certification requirements, and complies with all policies and standards of Maxor National Pharmacy Services Corporation.
  • Maintain daily operation of pharmacy department by supervising pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in the routine performance of their duties.
  • Provide appropriate technical and customer service training for pharmacy staff.
  • Review and update established drug-therapy guidelines and other policies and procedures, in conjunction with the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations, for use by physicians, nurses, and pharmacists.
  • Provide drug information to meet the needs of physicians and nurses through direct contact or in-service programs.
  • Prepare various reports and maintain records or supervise the maintenance of records as required or requested by the Regional Manager and/or the Executive VP of Operations.
  • Maintain current knowledge of drug therapies and drug reactions and interactions by reading professional literature, attending seminars and utilizing professional affiliations.
Qualifications:
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Successful candidates will possess the following education and experience necessary for this position:

Education:
  • Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current NH Pharmacist license or the ability to obtain NH pharmacist licensure.
  • (Relocation package is available if appropriate)

Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail and/or clinic-based pharmacy experiecne is preferred but will consider new graduates.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory skills;
  • Ability to work effectively with a multi-disciplinary team;
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills;
  • Prior knowledge of local, state, and federal accrediting body and OSHA rules and regulations preferred.
