Correctional Psychiatric Services (CPS) is a leader in providing healthcare in the Massachusetts County Correctional System. We are looking for a licensed Physical Therapist to join our team of health professionals at Suffolk County House of Correction in Boston. The Physical Therapist plans and administers medically prescribed or referred physical therapy treatment programs for patients to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, surgery, or loss of body part. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy with current and unrestricted physical therapy license to practice in MA. Inquiries welcome.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

● Consulting with patients to learn about their physical condition

● Assessing and interpreting patient evaluations and test results

● Developing treatment plans using a variety of treatment techniques

● Administering medically prescribed physical therapy treatments to relieve pain and improve mobility.

● Advising patients on exercise techniques

● Consulting and collaborating with internal and external healthcare providers.

● Documenting patient care history

● Complying with security rules, regulations and procedures
