If yes - then this might be your opportunity to treat your ideal patient population and land your dream position!

Synergy Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is seeking up to 2 additional Women's Health/Pelvic Floor Physical Therapists and/or Physical Therapist Assistants to join an established program at a Physical Therapist owned private practice.

This is an excellent career opportunity for clinicians with a passion for Women's Health needs to join our well-regarded program with opportunities for mentorship and program development alongside experienced Pelvic Rehab PT/Practice Owner and additional team members.

Candidates must have completed a minimum of a Level 1 Pelvic Rehab course WITH lab component.

Additional coursework or training in pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum care, working with female athletes, and Pilates a plus. Prior clinical internship or work experience in providing direct internal assessment and treatment in Pelvic Rehab/Women's Health highly desired. Experienced Pelvic Rehab PTs are eligible for consideration for a Pelvic Rehab Team supervisor role with additional leadership responsibilities and compensation/bonus. Yearly bonus available for providers who earn & maintain their WCS, OCS, SCS or Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification - PRPC.

Prior orthopedic and sports medicine experience and proficiency in manual therapy interventions and exercise prescription for the spine, hip and pelvic girdle a plus.

Our Women's and Men's Health patient demographics are primarily younger, active patients in the 18-45 year old age range. Caseload consists of but is not limited to pre and post partum diagnoses, pelvic pain, painful bladder syndrome/IC, urinary incontinence, hip labrum pathology, SIJ dysfunction, colorectal conditions/chronic constipation, pain after hernia repair, pelvic organ prolapse, post hysterectomy care, and diastasis recti management.

We treat a large patient caseload of male and female active duty USMC military personnel with pelvic floor and abdominal diagnoses so proficiency with higher level exercise progressions is desirable.

We are a physical therapist owned and managed clinic, with experienced PTs with varied specialties and a strong focus on manual therapy and building a therapeutic alliance with patients. We have developed an outstanding reputation in our community for providing general orthopedic and post-surgical care, sports medicine services, men’s and women’s health/abdominal and pelvic rehab, and balance/vestibular services. Our community has selected us as the "Best Physical Therapy Clinic" in Jacksonville, NC for the last 5 years.

Our Clinic Owner/CEO is a Pelvic Rehab/Ortho/Sports Med PT with 20+ years of clinical experience. She is available for formal mentorship with clinicians joining our Pelvic Rehab team.

Our practice was opened in 2012. We embrace direct access to Physical Therapy and community education on the role of Physical Therapists in managing musculoskeletal dysfunction. We emphasize personalized, hands-on treatments and foster a very family-oriented environment for our patients.

We are primarily insurance based and in network with most major payers. This allows our patients to still utilize their insurance benefits and receive highly skilled, specialized care delivered in a 1:1 care model by licensed clinicians. This increases access to care in our community for all individuals versus care being limited to only those who can afford self-pay/cash-based/out of network PT. We also offer cost effective self-pay plans and Care Credit financing to minimize financial barriers to patients seeking care.

Our modern clinic has 5 private treatment rooms with hi-lo tables and we have 2 Prometheus biofeedback units on site. We have a large clinical gym with 2 Stott Pilates Reformers and 1 Split Pedal Chair, Kettlebells, TRX Suspension trainers, an array of cardio equipment, plyo boxes and a variety of other exercise equipment. We also offer low level laser therapy and Dry Needling.

We encourage professional growth and continuing education. This is an excellent career opportunity for candidates passionate about Women's Health needs across the lifespan.
