Physical Therapy Assistant – Per Diem
We are seeking a PT Assistant to join our staff per diem.
Duties include assisting the Physical Therapist in the evaluation process as directed. Will assist the PT in identifying a problem list, short-term goals, long-term goals, and treatment plans. The PTA will conduct individual, supervised, and group treatment as assigned by the Physical Therapist and as outlined in the treatment plan. Provides/recommends/fabricates adaptive devices or other equipment; trains resident and caregiver in the use or application or orthotics and prosthetics. Confers formally and informally with other team members in coordinating the total rehabilitation program of the resident.
Must have current Massachusetts Physical Therapy Assistant license in good standing. Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is a plus. Must be fully COVID vaccinated including Booster (per DPH requirements).
