We are looking for per-diem PTA's in all of our offices.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF UNIT: The goal of therapy is to improve, develop or restore functions impaired or lost through illness, injury and/or deprivation.
PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION: To provide physical therapy services to clients according to standards of practice outlined by the American Physical Therapy Association at the direction of the Registered Physical Therapist.
EDUCATION: Graduate of an Accredited Associates Degree Program for Physical Therapy Assistants.
EXPERIENCE: A minimum of 1 year recent clinical experience.
LICENSURE: Current license in the State of Maine as a Physical Therapy Assistant.
OTHER JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a reliable automobile.
- Must have current Maine driver’s license.
- Independent malpractice insurance is highly advised.
- Evidence of automobile insurance.
- Must re-train in CPR every two years.
- Must submit accurate time slips according to Agency protocol.
