MEDIKO now seeks a Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine, Family Practice, or Emergency Medicine) to join us Part Time as a Contractor/1099 worker at the Beaufort County Jail. This position is for 5 Hours per Week with participation in Call-by-Phone. We help improve your quality of life with benefits like these:

What We Require:

• Active and unrestricted license to practice medicine from the State of South Carolina.
• Must have active DEA registration prior to starting, and maintain it for the duration of your work with us.
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in a Primary Care discipline (Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, etc.)
• Interact professionally with patients, custody staff, co-workers, and a robust Nursing staff.
• Must Clear Criminal Background Check, Site Safety and Security Check, and pass a Drug Screen.
• Must hold CPR/BLS prior to start, and maintain that certification throughout the duration of your work here.
