Piece Rate Finish Carpenters:

Summit Restoration and Construction is looking for experienced finish carpenters who know how to get the job done correctly the first time, and in a timely manner. You understand that the more efficient and organized you are, the more financial opportunity that is available with piece rate work.

If you have a great attitude, work with little supervision and attentiveness to get the job done right, this opportunity might be the right fit for you. Most of our work is residential and usually includes drywall, texture, paint, door and trim, baseboard installation, to name some of the areas of expertise needed.

Job Summary:

• Work with Project Managers about scope of work
• Travel to homeowner job sites to assess and complete the job scope
• Ability to determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing repair projects. Standard materials available at the office (drywall, mud, screws etc.)
• Evaluate requests, troubleshoot problems, and provide updates at the start and end of day to the Project Manager
• Take photos to well document the jobsite and work that was completed
• Utilize apps and technology daily to communicate with the team.
• Opportunity to work after hours or on weekends for our 24/7 on-call rotation.

Sample Scope:

• Protect the floor, tape the ceiling off. Make drywall repairs, texture drywall, paint the walls of the bedroom, paint around doors and windows, install ceiling fan, install, caulk in and paint base board, install vanity, toilet and connect sink in bathroom. Clean up jobsite every night, communicate well with your office staff, communicate professionally with homeowner.

Job Requirements

• Have current Driver's License and clean driving record
• Have tools, work vehicle & great references
• Must have liability insurance
• Excellent communication skills and be well organized
• Have experience in carpentry trades (5 years minimum experience required)
• Pass screening process which includes a background check
• Have smartphone & Internet access
