As a Piperfitter for our Civil Distrcit you will contribute to our team by:

• Doing Layout, setting elevations and grade.
• Doing the layout and install of above ground mechanical piping and supports. Experience in the installation of carbon steel piping and Victaulic couplings, fittings. Experience with Copper piping a plus
• Reading / Interpreting: contract documents, submittals, shop drawings, architectural, structural and mechanical drawings.

What you will bring to the role:

• Must have minimum of 5 years’ experience in the pipe-fitter /mechanical trade
• Pay rate is determined on current level of knowledge and experience
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Able to create a safe working environment, and understands OSHA regulations
• Ability to take off and communicate tool and material requirements to the supervisor
• Must have experience in carbon steel, copper (soldering, brazing) and PVC installations
• Must have experience setting mechanical equipment including Clarifier equipment, pumps,
• Ability to set up and perform piping tests
• Must have reliable transportation to job-site
• Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work well with others
• Ability to identify potential issues during installation and elevate them to Foreman/Gen Foreman
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a drug test
