The Role/ Responsibilities
As a
Kitchen
Team Member, you will
utilize culinary expertise to prepare signature meals and catering. You will work alongside a dynamic Center Kitchen team assisting the Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs in creating exceptional flavors and presentations.

Deliver Talk of the Town guest service.

Successfully train and continuously develop expertise in the Food Service department

Assists with Food Service team to provide presentations including Quality of product, In-Stock, In-Code, product rotation, temperature checks, accurate labeling, scale accuracy

Assist with duties across the Food Service department inclusive of prioritizing guest service, assist guests with product needs and product orders, breaking down deliveries, prep work/cooking/frying/baking, stocking tables, cases and displays, cleaning, posting/monitoring shelf tags/signs for accuracy

Follow controls to minimize food and supply waste and follow appropriate repurposing of food waste
Qualifications
-
Food Service experience in restaurant, hospitality, or retail ( preferred)
-
Experience working within a Catering Operation ( preferred)

Excellent communication skills
-
Ability to maintain composure, meet deadlines and work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
-
Available to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Physical Demands and Work Environment
-
Must be able to perform the following physical activities regularly: Walking, standing, kneeling, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, talking, hearing and repetitive motions (Walking/Standing 90% and sitting 10% of day)

Physically able to exert up to 50 pounds of force often and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

Occasional exposure to extreme temperatures – walk-in coolers and freezers
-
Exposure to chemicals and cleaning products

Operating equipment (baler, compactor, power jack, six-wheeler, box cutter, ovens, knives, slicers)
