Key Responsibilities:

• Dismantle equipment when required for repair or transportation and reassemble it at the appropriate time
• Move equipment to appropriate site(s) for repair and/or maintenance
• Align and calibrate machinery and equipment parts as required for efficient and safe operation
• Assemble and install equipment using hand and power tools
• Fabricate and assemble structures and equipment through the use of implements such as welders and measuring tools
• Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment as required
• Demonstrates a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to safety policies in all work environments and areas.
• Prioritizes SAFETY, then QUALITY, followed by PRODUCTION
• Ensures a safe work environment for self and others at all times.
• Understand and comply with MSHA/Company Environmental, Health & Safety policies to assure these are the first priority
• Actively support key safety initiatives at the facility and assist as needed to improve Health & Safety.
• Communicates effectively and timely with peers and management.
• Ensure all work areas are clean, tidy and organized at all times
• Trains and coaches other employees when needed
• Performs other duties as time permits or as assigned

• Internal controls providing reasonable assurance of effective and efficient operations, including actions to prevent and detect fraud and protect Company resources
• Ensure compliance with internal control procedures - unwarranted deviations from established standards, and violations of policy or law
• Ability to work independently, self-starter, yet able to participate within a team environment
• Ability to operate equipment effectively
• Must understand equipment functions and processes of the primary areas

Education and Work Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous aggregate/mining experience preferred but not required
• Basic math, reading, and writing skills are required (English)
• Welding, cutting, and mechanical skills are desired
• Haul trucks, loaders, and various mine equipment

• Must be able to pass pre-employment physical/drug/alcohol test

• Able to perform basic math computations
