Plant Operator Job at C.A.C. INDUSTRIES, INC.
An affiliate of C.A.C. Industries, Green Asphalt, is currently seeking a full-time Plant Operator in Long Island City, Queens. Green Asphalt is a NYC-based 100% recycled asphalt manufacturer specializing in green infrastructure and development projects. The ideal candidate would be eager for opportunities to learn, embrace challenges, and effectively collaborate with others to reach shared goals. Prior experience operating an asphalt plant is preferred. The compensation $20-50/hour, depending on level of experience. Willing to train an individual with less experience if they are open to learn.
Job responsibilities include:
- Daily operation and maintenance of the asphalt plant
- Switch between production of different mix designs as needed for customer pickup
- Take orders over the phone
- Log and maintain upcoming orders
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday and the occasional Saturday. Night shifts may be required.
