Seeking a full-time Plant Operator to join our team in !

The primary function of a Plant Operator is to treat wastewater, determine water quality, and release treated water to publicly operated treatment works. The Plant Operator plays a significant role in maintaining the safety and health of the environment.

Essential Functions:

• Responsible for mixing the wastewater chemicals and adding to them as needed
• Manages the space for incoming wastewater and treatment of materials
• Samples and checks facility discharge for compliance with all procedures or regulations
• Performs cleanup of the area as required
• Checks tank levels for necessary space for material processing
• Follows all safety and compliance rules and regulations
• Wears and properly use safety equipment at all times
• Always works in a safe and compliant manner
• Works cooperatively as a team member with other departments
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• The ability to learn procedures related to safe handling of materials
• Committed to growth in a company
• Collaborative with team members
• Good eye-hand coordination
• Organizational ability
• The ability to be cross-trained to perform other jobs as needed
• Ability to communicate with others for safety and efficiency requirements
